Dear Resident, Blythe Crimes update between Monday 26th January – Tuesday 3rd February 2026. Burglary. No burglaries have been reported. No Theft of motor vehicles have been reported. Theft from Motor vehicle. On Monday 26th/01/26 at 4.25pm a Transit van was entered via its side door and tools stolen. The van was parked on the Red Lion Car park in Earlswood. Thank you to Ethel’s Coffee and kitchen in Cheswick Green for hosting a Police Beat Surgery on the 29/01/25 from 10am -11am. Thank you to Dickens Heath Street Watch too, for their much-appreciated regular patrols. Please make sure your sheds, garages side gates are locked. Move your wheelie bins inside your property away from any side gate entry. Please don’t leave your property in darkness, leave a light on. Ongoing patrols are continuing. Thank you to the residents who are helping Police with their investigations. If you see a vehicle in your area that you don’t recognise, parked up, please contact Police on 101 or use the West Midlands Police web site to log it. The location of new vehicle deposition sites are of interest to us.

Ensure that all garden furniture is stored away in a garden shed along with any tools to avoid aiding offenders in committing burglary. Ensure that Wheelie Bins are not stored near to fences and are chained together to prevent them from being used as climbing aids or storing objects in that may aid an offender to commit a crime.
